The Retroceptor™ is a unique under-sink solids interceptor engineered to remove coffee grinds, food waste, and other solids that would otherwise enter the wastewater discharge stream.

The top manifold installs easily to the sink strainer in commercial kitchens. The solids chamber captures the solids and is easily removed for maintenance.

Easy to Maintain

When the Microceptor is full, simply unlatch the solids chamber from the manifold and empty it. The mesh filter can be easily cleaned and re-used or simply replaced. There are no messy spills when the solids chamber is removed, as the Microceptor’s unique engineering ensures that the maintenance process is drip-free.

Worry-free Operation

The Microceptor is designed to allow wastewater to by-pass the system in the event that it has not been properly maintained. The Microceptor’s innovative patent-pending by-pass design ensures that the wastewater will be diverted around the filter and out the wastewater discharge line to allow for continued use of the sink during busy periods even though the solids chamber is full. This means that the Microceptor can be cleaned out on your schedule, rather than causing an interruption to a busy kitchen.

Applications

The Microceptor is ideal for coffee sinks or bar sinks that are primarily used for rinsing of coffee equipment and some food preparation utensils, to reduce the incidence of line blockages from the sink to the kitchen interceptor.
